Tell us a little about Peterpenny's!
We’re an independent salon and have been in Putney since 1995! It’s a collaboration between the two of us: Peter and Penny. Husband and wife!
We’ve built up a really loyal customer base which is great and I like to think we’re known for the quality of service we offer as we take huge pride in how we cut and colour. Customer service is really important to us: it’s the small touches that matter that show the client you care and that you value them.
Why did you switch to Slick?
Peter: “We had a lightbulb moment!
We were paying commission on clients that we never saw again- I was making a loss on each of those clients!
Our former software took 42% inc VAT on a new client but if an existing client hasn’t been in for 12 months and then books in via the marketplace they claim thats a new client which is just really cheeky. I worked out that a new client via the marketplace would need to visit me 6 times before I made a profit- it was madness!

Was starting a new ‘system’ scary?
Penny: "Everything has been so easy with Slick! I can't think of anything I need help with because there are no issues with the system. I've actually had clients come in and tell me they like our new system which I've never had before!"
