How is Slick different to Fresha or Treatwell?

With marketplaces they take a commission or booking fee for every client booked via the marketplace. Marketplaces can be great if you need new clients. However, the fees can very quickly rack up. Slick does not charge fees on client bookings. We charge a flat subscription fee per month to give you the tools to grow your business.

I'm not good with technology, is it complicated?

No! Our oldest user is 84 and now bosses the teenagers!

Slick was built with the input from owners like you so not only is it easy to use but it's also been designed to be accessible to neuro-diverse users.

On top of that we have a Customer Support team on hand 7-days a week to help you with any queries

Do I get training and support?

Does Slick send me new clients?

Not directly no. Marketplaces advertise your business to clients in your area. This also means your clients will be shown other rival salons in your area. Slick gives you the tools to attract new clients via social media and improving your discoverability on Google.

Is Slick GDPR compliant?

Yes. GDPR is really important. As a salon owner it's your legal responsibility to keep personal data such as contact details safe and secure. That's why holding details on paper diaries or record cards is such a risk. Slick stores your client data in a GDPR compliant fashion and only control access to the data.
